To deliver and oversee delivery of accurate and insightful performance analysis, resolve complex performance issues, develop solutions to complex performance and attribution modeling and process improvements. If so, we have an exciting opportunity for youAs a Performance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the investment process by helping articulate the value added by our portfolio managers. Your expertise in analyzing investment strategies and understanding portfolio risk will be instrumental as we continue to deepen our insights into performance drivers and alpha generation. You'll contribute to delivering a best-in-class attribution offering for both our internal partners—such as the Investment Management Group—and our client-facing teams in PRD, FAS, and WS.Responsibilities:Supports the development and implementation of the performance attribution infrastructure to manage, measure, monitor, and report aggregate global equity and/or fixed income investments benchmark relative returnResearches best practices for equity and/or fixed income investment and business activities to control various risks. Gathers and analyzes data from various equity and or fixed income fund management units and provides performance analysisSupports the development of technology-based tools and metrics, and performs statistical data analysis to report, monitor, measure, and manage various aspects of equity and/or fixed income investment performance. Presents thorough, clear, and insightful analysis to senior leaders, portfolio managers, and risk managersUtilizes processes, tools, and techniques to evaluate equity and/or fixed income investments models. Provides ongoing model validation.Develops and maintains knowledge of financial markets, quantitative drivers, and general investment themes. Builds an understanding of Vanguard's equity and fixed income investment management functional areas. Provides reporting for client-facing business groups and Vanguard senior leaders based on fund performanceParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of three years' related work experience.Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.Progress towards professional certification (CFA, CIPM) preferred.Knowledge of financial marketsStrong analytical skillsPython, SQL and Power BI helpfulSpecial FactorsSponsorshipVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.About VanguardAt Vanguard, we don't just have a mission—we're on a mission.To work for the long-term financial wellbeing of our clients.
