Overview of PositionThe role of the Associate Pastor is to administer to the faith needs of the congregation and community of Grace Bible Church. The primary focus of this position will be oversight of ministries related to youth and children while also assisting the Lead Pastor in the functions and duties related to discipleship, teaching, and administrative oversight. This is a full-time position.If interested, please apply to careers@roadtograce.org.Responsibilities:Youth MinistryCreating a welcoming atmosphere while overseeing youth meetingsMeeting with youth for relationship building and discipleshipPlanning youth outings and special trips throughout the yearDeveloping relationships with parents and assisting them in the spiritual development of their childrenOverseeing the “Wednesday Night Live” children’s programOverseeing the VBS programTeaching the Jr/Sr High School Sunday School classPastoral MinistryFaithfully attending and participating in GBC worship servicesTeaching and preaching regularly (at least once every 8 weeks)Leading services when the Lead Pastor is absentAssisting in pastoral care of church members including visiting as requestedAttending and participating in regular pastoral and elder meetings and other meetings as neededAssisting in training, counseling, and other pastoral duties as neededLearning from and working alongside of the Lead Pastor, performing any other duties as neededQualificationsA testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.Agreement with the Statement of Faith of Grace Bible ChurchYouth Ministry experienceBachelor’s degree - preferred Open to ordination through local pastoral council (if not previously ordained)Ability to play guitar and/or keyboard and sing - a plus Salary: $55,000-$60,000 plus benefits packageAbout Grace Bible Church of Mt.
