Creates a greater sense of 'systemness' throughout the Hospital. Process Improvement: Exhibits leadership and fosters commitment to continuous quality improvement of quality, safety and the human experience whereby decision-making is driven by data analytics to achieve customer loyalty. Works with hospital and organizational leadership and team members to foster high reliability thinking with sensitivity to operations, a preoccupation with failure, deference to expertise, resilience, and a reluctance to simplify the complexity of the system. Clinical Service Integration: Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments, matrixed care transformation services, employed and independent physicians, and other affiliated services both within and outside the hospital to ensure a wholly integrated approach to providing services, and fulfilling the hospital's strategic initiatives. People Management: Manages and/or assists in the recruitment, development and supervision of team members. Creates and sustains an environment that fosters trust and team member engagement. Establishes clear objectives tied to department and/or organizational strategic goals. Coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports. Financial Management: Involved in the development and management of budget for assigned areas. Regularly monitors relevant key financial indicators and performance metrics, modifying business activities where needed in response to changing financial situations. Data Management and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on relevant data and metrics as needed and/or requested. Develop, recommend and/or implement actions or process improvements as appropriate. Other Duties as Assigned: Complete all assignments and projects in a timely fashion. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior. QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Master Degree in Business Administration or Hospital Administration. Ten (10) years of experience in Strategic hospital operations. Five (5) years of experience in Senior level leadership.Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills. Well developed planning, marketing, organizational development, and business skills.Information systems capabilities and appreciation for the data which will be required to make meaningful management decisions. Ability to work with physicians and professionals in multiple settings and locations and to promote diversity in the workplace. Excellent leadership and people skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi-task. Excellent collaborator. Experience in creating and managing budgets. Strong project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts. In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
