This role provides consultation on human resource-related issues, supports organizational goals, and ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HRBP will be aligned with a client group and also manage special projects.                                                       Essential Functions:Act as a consultant to senior leaders on HR-related issues and business strategyServe as an employee champion and change agent, anticipating HR needsHandle complex employee relations matters, including investigations, terminations, counseling, coaching, and documentationSupport performance management processes: annual evaluations, goal setting, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actionsInterpret and explain HR policies, procedures, labor laws, and regulationsEnsure compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEO, and other federal/state employment lawsAdvise on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity, harassment allegations, and work-related complaintsProvide expertise on employment claims (e.g., unemployment, EEOC) and related investigationsPartner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructuringCollect and analyze HR metrics (turnover, exit interviews, employee relations data) and develop action plans for improvementCollaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on talent acquisition, development, total rewards, and engagement initiativesManage progressive disciplinary processes and approvalsRecommend policy changes and monitor compliance with labor laws and company standardsActively participate in HR and HRIS projectsQualifications:Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in HR or related field strongly preferredExperience: 4–5 years of progressive HR experience in employee relations or HRBP capacityTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-specific softwareSoft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, organizational ability, time management, adaptability, and a proactive mindsetJob Location: Love’s Corporate Office – Oklahoma City, OK Our Culture: Fueling customers' journeys since 1964, innovation leads the way for this family-owned and operated business headquartered in Oklahoma City.
