A leading healthcare organization in Washington, DC, is seeking an accomplished General Manager (Level 6), Food & Nutrition Services, to oversee daily operations for a large, 900-bed patient-focused hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of day-to-day food and nutrition operations. Ensure delivery of high-quality patient meals, retail services, and catering programs. Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and financial performance. Build and maintain strong client relationships and drive stakeholder engagement. Develop and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence, safety, and compliance. Champion initiatives that support the nursing relationship. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations, including DC-specific requirements. Drive continuous improvement through operational innovation. What You Bring Proven leadership experience in food and nutrition management within a healthcare or hospital setting. Strong operational, financial, and client relationship management skills. Demonstrated success in staff development, team engagement, and regulatory compliance. Commitment to supporting the nursing team and advancing the patient-centered care model. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of management experience Proven record in overseeing large-scale, high-volume operations. Must Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 yearsof management and functional experience in healthcare food service.
