Why We Will Love You: Work weekends and are flexible with scheduling You are positive, professional, organized and engaged in all things pink Styling hair is the reason you get up in the morning-and you never leave home without your round brush A people-centric leader who understands the needs of a team of salon stylists A natural collaborator who is obsessed with learning new techniques and empowers or trains hair stylists A self starter who can champion ideas from ideation to implementation An exceptional communicator who can work with various stylists’ personalities Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; must be a proactive and collaborative team player in a salon environment Love making people feel beautiful, special and valued Understand the importance of maintaining a squeaky-clean work environment in a salon You Must Have: An up-to-date cosmetology license for the state The ability to work weekends (Fridays and Saturday) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar, typically Thursday through Saturday) A passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry and making people feel better Salon experience an asset Job Responsibilities: Ensure the bar’s vibe and hair is consistent with Blo brand standards Manage bloer recruitment and training through Blo’s signature Blo U(niversity) Mentor and up-train existing bloers so they are always blo-ing to their true styling potential Be a role model and Blo brand ambassador Participation in maintaining a professional, clean, fun and respectful work environment Opportunity: potential to be cross-trained on additional services such as makeup, or be promoted to management roles Visit for the skinny.
