Putting the ‘Rock’ in ‘Hard Rock’, guests are invited to experience the legends of music by exploring Hard Rock’s expansive memorabilia collection with iconic pieces from SLASH to Johnny CashJOB SUMMARYThe Marketing Coordinator assists and supports the department in all aspects of media communications, digital marketing initiatives and promotional activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops and produces creative collateral, such as social media content, email marketing, and direct mail, in accordance with time and budget guidelinesManages and responds to all social media comments and online inquiries in conjunction with other Marketing staff to maintain contact with guestsCoordinates with outside vendors in the execution of promotions and campaignsWorks with other departments to provide promotional support and meet collateral needs according to brand standardsGenerates and logs purchase requisitions relating to marketing, entertainment, and player development, and submits invoices to ensure timely payment of vendorsParticipates in the review and approval process of all Marketing material by designing and proofreading for content (i.e., spelling and grammar) and correct imagesAssists with the coordination of on-site events, including the use of decor and catering as well as all matters regarding filming and photography (i.e., media release forms)Provides administrative departmental management including status reports, agency communication, reports/analysis, etc.Performs other duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent guest serviceAbility to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts and draw valid conclusionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferredOne to two years of gaming or hospitality experience preferredMust obtain valid gaming license, where applicablePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.The employee may be exposed to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
