ABOUT US The Global Diabetes Institute and Dr. Hawkins’s lab within the Department of Endocrinology is seeking a part-time Graduate Assistant to coordinate administrative responsibilities, including research projects conducted by Dr. Meredith Hawkins and her team at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The research project aims to understand the central regulation of glucose production in type 2 diabetes, to improve diabetes care. The graduate assistant will assist the principal investigator in administrative tasks and data analysis for the study. Additionally, the student will also be responsible for assisting the Director of the Global Diabetes Institute in writing manuscripts, coordinating with international research partners, and analyzing data on type 5 diabetes. The student will join a positive and encouraging work environment.
