Project Manager/Estimator (Structural Steel Fabrication)JOB DESCRIPTIONAn AISC certified Steel Company in the area is looking for someone with Structural Steel Fabrication and/or Erection experience. An ideal candidate will be experienced in Project Management or Estimating of commercial Schools, Data Centers, Office, Industrial and Truss Heavy projects from $1M - $30M. Connections with General Contractors in the market will be a plus. Project Manager Duties: Developing accurate estimates / budgets for projects through the bid / negotiating phase.Assist in contract review / negotiations.Understanding the scope / contract requirements and the intended deliverables.Establish sequencing / schedules / milestones – communicating such to company / client teams.Coordination of submittals / RFI’s / PO’s / Sub Contracts / Purchasing for project specific needs.Update weekly reports / logs to monitor schedules and job costs Review / Price changes in work – negotiate with client.Develop / maintain / improve client relationships.
