This vital position is designed for a skilled individual who is ready to step up and lead our maintenance efforts to ensure the highest quality of service and efficiency in our operations. This is a full-time, will have to travel to the sites in van with supplies needed. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing the durability and functionality of roofing systems across various locations. As a key member of our maintenance team, the successful applicant will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for top-tier roofing solutions and customer satisfaction.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead a team of technicians in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems.Identify and repair leaks on various types of roof systems including but not limited to EPDM, TPO, and PVC.Perform routine checks and maintenance of roofing equipment.Heat weld TPO and PVC membranes, ensuring strong and reliable seals.Execute small construction work related to roof maintenance and repair.Train new staff on maintenance protocols and company standards.Prepare detailed reports on job tasks and forward them to the maintenance manager for review.Manage inventory of materials and tools necessary for all roofing projects.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during project execution.Provide excellent customer service, addressing client's concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.May require occasional overnight stays to complete project assignments effectively.RequirementsProven experience as a Commercial Roofing Technician or similar role min 10years experience.Demonstrable ability to heat weld TPO and PVC membranes.Knowledge of a wide range of roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, and PVC.strong understanding of construction and roofing tools and equipment.Ability to lead and motivate a small team of technicians.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Construction or a related field is preferred.Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively.Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working at heights.Flexibility to work extra hours and stay overnight as required by project demands.Commitment to adhering to all safety procedures and operational protocols.
