Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Part TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, a state-of-the-art care center located in Lake Worth, Florida. As a Part-Time SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of residents, providing expert speech therapy services to help them achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat residents with communication and swallowing disorders, including cognitive-linguistic deficits, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphasia, and dysphagiaDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each residentConduct regular assessments to measure progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive caremaintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment plans, progress, and outcomesParticipate in staff education and training to promote excellent care and customer serviceRequirements:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MS/SLP) 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)Current certification as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent patient careKnowledge of current rehabilitation practices and protocolsWhat We Offer:$43 - $48 HOURLYOpportunity to work with a diverse population of residentsCollaborative and supportive work environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesFlexible scheduling as a Part-Time employeeIf you are a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Apply now to join our talented team and help us provide exceptional care and service to our residents
