Position Description: Are you a dynamic communicator who loves working with kids and making a difference in your community? Join Girl Scouts Louisiana East in a fun, flexible outreach role where youll lead hands-on activities, inspire girls in grades K12, and spread the excitement of Girl Scouting across schools, churches, and community centers. This position is perfect for college students, future teachers, or anyone who loves youth engagement and public speakingJOB OVERVIEW- What Youll Do:Engage & Inspire: Lead and support fun, interactive Girl Scout activities and presentations for girls of all ages.Hit the Road: Travel to schools and community sites to deliver Girl Scout programs (materials provided).Set the Scene: Help set up, organize supplies, and create a positive learning environment.Build Connections: Partner with teachers, site coordinators, and community leaders to expand Girl Scout programming.Track & Report: Record attendance, collect surveys, and help document program results.Team Up: Work closely with the Community Program Specialist and other staff to make every event successful.What Were Looking For Must be 18+ and able to work occasional evenings/weekends. High school diploma or GED (some college or Associates degree preferred). Experience working with youth (teaching, camp, tutoring, ministry, or community programs). Comfortable leading groups and speaking in public. Positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
