Job DescriptionProvides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments.Assigns duties to nursing assistants based on residents' needs and available staff.Observes, records, and reports any change in resident’s condition.Notifies residents' physician as necessary to report a change in condition, medication requests, or changes and to verify physician orders.Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations.Transcribes written physician orders accurately to Medication Administration Record.Completes laboratory requests as ordered by a physician.QualificationsCurrent LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.General working knowledge of the aging services industry.Proven supervisory and leadership skillsCompassion, patience, and genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations in a dynamic care environment.Additional InformationBenefitsDepending upon the status of the position, Asbury offers generous benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401K with match; PTO and paid holidays.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
