We are seeking a QC Technician for our Nutek Disposables Company located in McElhattan, PA. This is a 12-hour overnight position (6:45 pm-7 am). This position is responsible for performing confirmatory and special laboratory testing of products. Provides analytical support for quality assurance functions throughout all aspects of company operations.Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:Follows all Safety Rules and Safety Policies at NDIExhibits a thorough understanding of NDI’s Quality PolicyFollows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.Maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of the laboratory.Correctly performs and understands quality testing requirements.Follows existing procedures applying to the Quality System.Performs testing on Production samples at specified sampling frequencies.Responsible for updating the hold status of materialsEnters required test results into the Quality Data System.Provide support for correcting non-conformancesProvide support regarding documentation, raw materials, chemicals and equipment necessary for performing Quality functions.Supports activities as assigned in the following areas:Raw material verificationLabeling/packaging approval & releaseFirst piece inspectionPerforms other duties as assigned.Education and experience requirements:High school diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and ExcelBasic math skillsBasic Quality Window reportingDevelopment training course – Working as a TeamBasic knowledge of SPCAbility to use basic measurement toolsBasic written/verbal skills
