Our Jacksonville, FL office is actively searching for a Marine Structural Engineer with hands-on experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of marine structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering principles, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the marine and offshore industry. Licensure within the State of Florida is required within 6 months of hireProficient in structural analysis software such as MathCAD, SAP2000, SupportIT, or similarStrong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, AISC, ACI)Availability to occasionally travel to Moffatt & Nichol's Tampa office will be requiredDue to client parameters, selected candidate must show (post offer) proof of U.S. citizenshipEligibility to successfully pass background check to secure Department of Defense DBIDS card and other badges required by clientsPossession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hirePhysical requirements:Majority of work is office based.
