By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a rewarding workplace with a strong sense of community. Job Description: We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Quality Manager at our Fayetteville, TN location As Quality Manager, you’ll set the tone for success—providing vision, direction, and motivation to achieve and exceed our daily and monthly quality goals.THE DAY TO DAY...Set goals, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for teams and individual membersAccountable for managing resources to ensure key quality department metrics are metCollaborate with internal and external customers’ quality and engineering personnel to determine critical part features and review manufacturability of designMake recommendations to modify customer part specifications and tolerances as necessary to support cost effective productionProvide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniquesResolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resourcesEffectively communicate and reinforce company commitment to quality improvement effortsDetermine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes, review and analyze results and recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectivenessParticipate and coordinate with other department (i.e.: Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Tooling, Operations, etc.) product Quality planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new systemsFacilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective actionParticipate directly in internal and external customer PPM improvement planResponsible and accountable to the performance of the Quality team/groupAssist the Quality Director in the implementation of APQP processes to better new product development and product launcesLead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and or Technicians to drive supplier excellenceMaintain and Enhance AriensCo Supplier Quality Manual and Supplier Ratings systems with the Quality Director and purchasing teamsAssist the purchasing team in the improvement of AriensCo company supplier standards and drive their implementation into the supply baseLead and or conduct on site supplier evaluations both before supplier selection and afterOversee the Implement risk-based inspection strategies, leveraging internal process and supplier histories and data analytics to optimize efficiencyAssist the Quality Director in establishing APQP, Control Plans, DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC and Other standard Quality Assurance tools to create a comprehensive AriensCo Quality Assurance SystemTHE QUALIFICATIONS...Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations and/or technical disciplineMinimum of 5 years’ experience with certified quality management system (e.g. TS 16949, ISO)Certified Quality Engineer preferredCustomer quality assurance experiencePrevious audit experienceTechnical knowledge of steel fabrication and assembly processes preferredFormal training and previous experience with part, sub-assembly, and final assembly audits preferredBackground in GD&T preferredUnderstanding of manufacturing and/or lean processes is desiredAbility to define and help resolve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.Since 1933, the AriensCo name has been associated with reliable, durably crafted, high-performance outdoor power equipment.
