You may be eligible to participate in the Company's Incentive Plan.BENEFITS INFORMATION:For information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit SUMMARYThe Credit Assistant 2 is responsible for the accurate and timely determination of credit worthiness for new National Accounts in accordance with established policies, practices, and procedures in a manner that will contribute to the profit of the company.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESRequired: High school degree and a minimum of 1 year credit and collection experience with a manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler extending commercial credit (business to business). Intermediate Word and Excel skills, exposure to automated A/R software, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and analytical and detail orientation.Preferred: SAP experience, Associate Degree, credit experience in distribution or manufacturing environment or NACM Credit courses.ESSENTIAL DUTIESReviews credit applications and new account set-up sheets for accuracy and completenessEstablishes customer account numbers in SAP and responsible for notifying sales representatives of credit terms and conditionsConducts credit investigations by contacting business references, credit bureaus and financial institutions in order to check credit worthinessEstablishes customer accounts for new and existing locationsMakes necessary changes to customer’s master file requested by Credit Management Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with all levels of internal and external customersKeeps staff updated and current on status of credit files for existing customersMaintains departments customer filesPerforms other duties as assigned#LI-EJ1
