The engineer will act as a subject matter expert, provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of complex control systems for industrial automation processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure the control system meets those requirements • Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems • Troubleshoot complex technical issues with control systems and provide effective solutions • Participate in the testing and commissioning of control systems at customer sites • Provide technical support for ongoing projects and customer service • Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers • Continuously improve control system design and programming practices • Identify and evaluate new control technologies for potential implementation in future projects • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure quality delivery on-time • Represent the company in technical discussions with customers and industry experts.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field • 9 or more years of experience in control system design and development • Strong understanding of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), industrial networking protocols, and communication protocols. • Strong understanding of controls instrumentation (valves, transmitters, switches, etc) and interface with the controls systems. • Advanced knowledge of programming languages commonly used in control systems, such as ladder logic and/or functional block diagram. • Extensive experience in electrical and control system design, including schematic capture and circuit design • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple control systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lead global cross-functional teams and manage complex projects • Strong technical leadership and mentorship skills • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results on-time and within budgetQuest Global is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
