REQUIREMENTS FOR A RETAIL STORE MANAGER: High school diploma or equivalencyA valid driver's license and a clean driving record3 years of retail management and supervisory experienceStrong oral and written communication skillsSpeaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settingsBasic understanding of accounting procedures and financial statementsA basic knowledge of electronics, including the ability to accurately read gauges and work with handsAbility to effectively manage confrontation in a controlled and courteous mannerAbility to calculate simple math, percentages, and ratiosAbility to become forklift certifiedAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including peak seasons and special eventsAbility to work at multiple store locationsAbility to travel locally up to 15% of the timePhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and more occasionallyA degree in business or retail management is preferredExperience in commercial (outside) sales is preferred THE DIFFERENCE THAT YOU'LL MAKE:As the Retail Store Manager, you lead by example, promoting a customer-first mentality while implementing retail and in-store selling programs.
