Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.  In the role of Civil Construction Inspector I, we'll count on you to:  Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelinesMonitor, record and inspect progress on construction projectsCoordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testingReceive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progressPerform basic mathematical calculations and follow simple technical instructionsAbility to obtain FDOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of the assignmentPerform other duties as needed Preferred QualificationsTechnical school or Associate degreeSome demonstrated experience in construction inspectionAbility to interpret construction schedulesRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy supports our commitment to employee safety and exceeding client requirements.
