Youll work on cutting-edge Vapor Recovery and Combustion systems that keep the environment cleaner and equipment running safely.From emergency troubleshooting to commissioning brand-new equipment, every day brings a new challengeand a new opportunity to grow your skills and career.As a Field Service Specialist you'll be the trusted expert supporting Zeecos Vapor Recovery Systems and Combustors in your region. Youll deliver critical aftermarket service, including:Preventative & Emergency Maintenance Provide on-call, after-hours support (24/7) to troubleshoot and resolve unplanned equipment shutdowns, both onsite and remotely. System Commissionings, Retrofits, & Upgrades Help launch and improve new and existing vapor control and product loading equipment.Tech-Driven Problem Solving Apply electrical, mechanical, and automation skills to diagnose and fix issues using PLCs, software tools, and instrumentation.Customer Service & Reporting Document and identify efficiently all service tasks, recommend system improvements, and ensure high-quality communication with customers and internal teams.Compliance & Safety Maintain and operate company-provided tools, assets, and vehicles, meet all safety requirements, and always put safety firstyours and others.Qualifications:Electrical skills equivalent to Journeyman level or a 2-year instrumentation engineering certificateWork experience that shows work in instrumentation, electrical and controls repair and replacement for 4+ years in a similar field.Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical schematicsFamiliarity with PLC systems, basic programming, and hardware troubleshootingStrong working knowledge of VFD, recorders, HMIs and associated controls and proficiency with determining and isolating problems within the systems.Ability to use Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook), tablets, and reporting toolsClear, professional communication skills (both written and verbal)Requirements:Education & Experience:High school diploma plus 2-year technical certificate, Journeyman electrical license, or 4+ years of field service experienceMilitary experience in Electrical or Mechatronics is a strong plusPhysical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, climb ladders/stairs, stand for long periods of the day, and perform tasks in extreme weather and confined spaces while wearing PPE.Mental & Emotional Readiness: Youll need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently under pressure, and the emotional intelligence to handle challenging or stressful customer situations.Drivers License: Valid and cleanthis role includes driving a company-provided vehicle to customer sites.If you're looking for a career that combines technical challenges, travel, and real-world impact, this is itAt Zeeco, you wont just be another technician.
