Commercial Litigation Associate

Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and a history of success spanning over 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 15 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We seek a Commercial Litigation Associate for our White Plains office. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and other associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment and directly communicate and interact with clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of litigation, including conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, and preparing substantive motions in New York state and federal courts. Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.Qualifications:Three (3) to five (5) years of commercial litigation experienceExcellent academic credentials and strong drafting skillsExceptional research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCompetence and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently Court and deposition experience strongly preferred Licensed to practice in New York is required; Licensed to practice in New Jersey and Connecticut are a plusBenefits: Generous PTO and Holiday ScheduleMedical/Vision/Dental insuranceHybrid work scheduleCommuter BenefitsPaid parental leave401k plan In compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $157,000 - $175,000.
