Ford Drivability Technician

We are looking for a Drivability Technician to join our growing team The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and preferably ASE or Ford certification.The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.    Benefits: Health, Medical and Dental 401K Plan Paid time off and vacation Growth opportunities Employee vehicle purchase plans Family owned and operated Long term job security Flexible Work Schedule (Opportunity for a 4 day work week.)    Responsibilities Carry out repairs listed on work orders efficiently and following dealership guidelines Use specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to test-drive vehicles and assess system performance Inspect, troubleshoot, and service a range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC Collaborate with the Service Advisor to keep customers updated on additional recommended services and provide accurate timelines for completion Complete warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer standards   Qualifications Preferred: 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Service Technician High school diploma or equivalent education required ASE or Ford certification is a strong plus Prior experience working at a Ford dealership is highly valued Proficient at the B level, with capabilities in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability, including use of advanced diagnostic tools Basic computer literacy (typing, Microsoft Office, etc.) Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities Friendly, team-focused personality with a willingness to grow Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment Works well in a collaborative team setting Willingness to adopt new technology and follow current service and repair procedures Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record   We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
