If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.We have an immediate opening for a Component Planner at our aerospae location in Santa Fe Springs, CA.  Roles & Responsibilities: Provides production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work In Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP scheduleMaintains integrity of the shop floor, MRP,Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal resources,Redirect and / or re-establish priorities, as required, in support of the Master ScheduleFacilitate expedited material of critical part shortages to released work ordersThe ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience: BS Degree and 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, and/or project management orAssociates degree with 4 years experienceMRP KnowledgeExperience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow ManufacturingExperience utilizing lean manufacturing conceptsDue to the nature of the work, you must be a US CitizenDesired Skills:Experience with ERP Systems (preferably SAP)Salary: $ to $ per hourLocation: Santa Fe Springs, CA
