Youll be joining over 300 engineers across software development, infrastructure, operations and security. Here are the detailsWhat youll doArchitect and Develop Reusable Code: All descriptions emphasize developing reusable code, promoting code modularity, and ensuring maintainability.Design, Develop, and Maintain Services: Each description highlights the need to design, develop, and maintain services with a focus on consistency, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.Collaboration with Stakeholders: Close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and effective backend or software solutions is a common theme.Code Reviews and Coding Standards: Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and enforcing coding standards to maintain quality and ensure consistency are key responsibilities in all descriptions.Staying Up-to-date with Technology: Staying updated with the latest trends, advancements, tools, and frameworks, and driving their adoption when appropriate is emphasized in all.Collaboration with Managers: Collaboration with product and engineering managers to define project timelines, estimate effort, and ensure successful delivery is mentioned in each.Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues to ensure optimal performance and timely resolution are mentioned, particularly with a backend focus.Fostering Continuous Learning and Growth: Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team, either by mentoring junior engineers or through general team culture.What were looking forExtensive experience in backend developmentStrong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Good knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservices, and domain-driven design.Enthusiasm for trying new technologies and helping other developers grow.Self-motivated, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and accountability for deliverables.Experience working in an Agile environment Nice-to-HaveGood knowledge of functional programming languages Professional experience with at least one of Rust or ElixirKnowledge of TDDKnowledge of RabbitMQ/KafkaWhy youll love it here: We want to make Prima a happy and empowering place to work.
