Position Summary McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Traffic Engineer. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team on a variety of traffic analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects for public agencies. Projects are likely to range from concept development and preliminary engineering studies to final design. Job Responsibilities Signing and pavement marking design, traffic signal design, traffic impact analysis, capacity and operational analysis, traffic simulation modeling, and crash /safety studies. Job Requirements Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering 5+ years of experience or equivalent working knowledge/experience in the field of traffic engineering Professional Engineering License required Hands-on experience with common traffic engineering software including Synchro, and HCS (VISSIM a plus) Experience and knowledge of agency guidelines and requirements is preferred Strong communication and technical writing skills Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite Experience working in MicroStation.
