As a Customer Service Associate for Parts Sales, you will be responsive to the FMC aftermarket customer’s needs by processing customer inquiries and orders. This includes accurately identifying parts needed, communicating pricing and availability, coordinating with technical support and warranty, working with Parts Inventory Coordinator to ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped, and creating sales orders and customer invoices. RESPONSIBILITIES Answer incoming Parts telephone and email inquiries, and return voicemails. Help customers identify and confirm replacement part(s) needed over phone and email. Send accurate emailed quotes and expected lead times to customers Create sales orders in our ERP system when orders are received Manage order fulfillment process when shipments originate from remote FMC locations. Process payments Coordinate and process any returns and manage customer refunds when needed. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS Proficient with Office 365 tools like Outlook email, Teams IM, MS Excel, and excellent general data entry / typing ability. Strong phone and email communication skills, responsiveness, and detailed follow-up. Some experience with and mechanical knowledge of class 8 trucks and parts preferred. : Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably. Ability to self-evaluate and seek feedback whether from customers, suppliers, or other FMC employees. Understanding and meeting the needs of customers and addressing the interests and concerns of all organization stakeholders. Performing a wide range of tasks, responding to changes in direction and priorities, and accepting new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments. : Monitoring adherence to standards and actively checking for accuracy of data received or generated before passing it on. Being on time to work daily, following through on commitments, producing timely work to required or higher standards, and doing whatever necessary to get the job done. Building cooperation among individuals and across departments, sharing best practices and resources, and working to achieve group goals and outcomes. : Building strong customer and inter-FMC facility relationships and adjusting to how individuals and organizations function and react.
