Unarmed Security Officer (Part-time)Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer Location: Bedford Heights, OH Schedule: Friday–Sunday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMPosition Type: Part-Time | UnarmedPay Rate: $15 per hour About the RoleWe are looking for a dependable Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support a grocery and perishable foods production and distribution environment. This position focuses on maintaining a secure facility, ensuring safe operations, and providing professional assistance to employees and authorized visitors. Candidates should have solid security experience and a proactive approach to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control access to the facility to ensure only authorized individuals enterPerform routine patrols of interior and exterior areas, checking for safety hazards, security risks, or irregularitiesObserve employee and visitor activity to ensure compliance with company guidelinesRespond promptly to security concerns, alarms, and incidentsComplete clear and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentationSupport emergency procedures and follow established security protocolsAssist employees, drivers, and visitors in a professional, customer-service–oriented mannerMaintain strong situational awareness at all timesQualificationsPrevious security experience strongly preferred Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skillsAbility to remain alert, calm, and professional in an industrial/warehouse environmentAble to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periodsDependable, punctual, and able to work the assigned Fri–Sun 2p–10p scheduleMust meet any applicable Ohio security requirements or certificationsHigh integrity and professionalismWhat We OfferSteady, consistent part-time schedule (Fri–Sun)Supportive team environmentOpportunity to work in a stable, essential industryOH #65198924219
