We have a Assistant Project Manager opportunity for youGpac has partnered with a general contractor looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team. The candidate must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a fast paced and strong sense of urgency, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. They have strong leadership abilities and the ability to create and manage a team environment where all members are working together towards ensuring total project success. Project types include offices, k-12, higher ed, multifamily and retail.Assistant Project Manager Duties: Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finishDevelop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are metReview and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprintsMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetConduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and quality of constructionManage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits Assistant Project Manager Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar roleStrong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materialsProficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprints Should you feel that your skills and experience are suitable for this Assistant Project Manager or if there are is another area of interest please contact me confidentially at 605-705-3302 or tim.dejong@gogpac.comGPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States over the past 28 years.
