We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.Summary The Mechanic works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. This role includes troubleshooting issues, repairing failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. This person provides direction for effective execution of maintenance activity on all machinery and equipment throughout the plant and office facilities. The Maintenance Mechanic is also responsible for the optimum utilization of available resources such as manpower, equipment, time, etc. This person must be responsible for decisions, actions and failures; must establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results. In addition, the maintenance mechanic must partner with others to get work done and work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. There are two plant facilities that make up the Moses Lake Production Campus. The selected candidate for this role will begin their training at one of these facilities and then will be assigned to one of the two locations after training is complete. Key Responsibilities Ensures alertness and constant awareness of the safe operation of moving equipment and other potential safety hazards in a production plant. Ensures necessary level of communication is maintained with the appropriate personnel. Ensures the efficient operation of all equipment on the premises by using preventative maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Ensures all equipment overhauls, repairs, installations or modifications are completed in a timely manner and comply with industry standards and codes as related to safety and quality.
