Job DescriptionField Crane TechnicianDallas, TXHourly Rate:  $25.00-$45.00  (Depending on experience)Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 Sign On Bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for a Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar yearResponsibilities:Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, & MEGA-TRACK system.Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.Reads, understands, and interprets operating/parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.Provides excellent customer service.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus.Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.Basic computer skills preferred.BenefitsCompetitive total rewards package including benefits and 401(k) beginning day one of employment.Continuing education and training opportunities; tuition reimbursement for those who qualify. Vacation and Holiday PayPaid Parental LeaveTeam building, engagement events, and community involvementScholarship ProgramAnd much moreRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician.
