The role involves adhering to Customer Service Standards, ensuring patient and safety protocols are followed, and demonstrating Family Centered Care principles in interactions with patients, their families, guests, and colleagues.SchedulePart-time | 48 hours every two weeksDay shifts | shift time 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.Every third weekend and rotating holidays requiredPay and BenefitsStarting pay begins at $20.82 per hour and increases with experiencePay range: $17.28 - $26.54 per hourEarn extra pay for working weekend/holiday shiftsPart-time : medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and moreQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDIn lieu of post high school training, one year cooking or related experience in our hospital or similar institution, restaurant or catering production will be accepted.Food Safety Training accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). Can be ServSafe or TAP Series within 1 1/2 Yrs RequiredPost High School Degree Post high school specialized training in volume and/or institutional cooking preferredTechnical or cooking school certificates. preferredKnowledge of sanitation and HACCP preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
