Je stuurt hierbij de ambitieuze en professionele USA organisatie aan (Operations, Commercial, Finance, Supply chain, HR) met als uitvalsbasis onze plant in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Je zorgt samen met de commercieel directeur voor een duurzame winstgevende omzetgroei waarbij de bewaking/monitoring en bijsturing van de bruto marge cruciaal is evenals alle commerciële kosten: advertising, listing fees, refund acties, Je zorgt samen met de operations directeur dat de kostprijzen van de domestic business zo laag mogelijk worden gehouden waarbij de bewaking/monitoring en bijsturing van de operations KPI cruciaal zijn: productiviteit, afval en overgewicht. Je zorgt samen met de Finance manager voor het financieel gezond houden van de operatie in de VS. Je stelt samen met je managementteam de jaarbudgetten op, presenteert deze samen met je team en zorgt ervoor dat er goedkeuring gegeven wordt door Poppies Bakeries voordat het budgetjaar is begonnen. Je stelt samen met de operations directeur de jaarlijks investeringsbehoeften op en ziet erop toe dat de goedgekeurde investeringen zo kostefficiënt mogelijk worden uitgevoerd. Je verbetert samen met de HR verantwoordelijke steeds verder de effectiviteit van het lokale management en medewerkers op de site. Je houdt hiervoor tijdig gesprekken inzake doelstellingen, functioneren en beoordelingen. Je staat in voor de relatieopbouw en communicatie met de lokale overheden / instanties. Je maakt samen met je team een lange termijn visie van de VS operatie en zorgt voor een vlekkeloze implementatie ervan: make/buy voorstellen formuleren, innovatie, ontwikkelingsplannen, Je rapporteert aan de CEO van Poppies Bakeries. Dit verwachten we van jou: Je bent een ervaren algemeen directeur met full P&L verantwoordelijkheid en bewezen resultaten in (bij voorkeur) de fastmoving business. Je bent een generalist die zowel affiniteit heeft met operations, commercie, finance, HR en supply chain. Je werkt nauw samen met de ervaren Operations Director en Commercial Director in je team. Je bent een sterke People Manager en motivator die erin slaagt zijn team te laten groeien en succesvol te zijn. Je bent bij voorkeur een Belg/Europeaan die al lange tijd in de VS woont en werkt. Je bent bereid om in de buurt van Rocky Mount te gaan wonen (bij voorkeur met het hele gezin). Aanwezigheid op de site is belangrijk. Je bent een goede en open communicator en onderhoudt vlot contact met de Europese moedermaatschappij. Je bent iemand die flexibel van strategisch naar tactisch naar operationeel kan switchen en terug. Je beschikt over een helikopterview en bent in staat om voldoende granulair de business / operatie beheersen.
