Join our organization and experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, Chief Engineers, Chief Technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfightersAs a Principal Systems Engineer - Systems Design Architecture Effectors you will be responsible for technical rigor of requirements documents, coordination across teams, sharing program process knowledge, mentoring engineers, and working with the technical and program leads execute program tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, requirements management, providing SE oversight during integration and test activities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an effectors project pertinent to the systems lifecycle. This role is 100% on-site at our Tucson, AZ campus.What You will Do Update, maintain, and improve requirements and requirements documentation for development and production effortsSupport Design and System Verification testingProvide SE guidance and support during integration and test effortsSupport system performance analysis, and Integration and TestMentor and guide team members, including engagement of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)Model the system and the system development and production processes using CameoParticipate in Failure InvestigationsFacilitate knowledge transfer within and across IPTs/CPTs to include Cross-Functional collaboration and coordinationConduct Trade Studies and present results to customersSupport test equipment software integration and verification for system testQualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experienceExperience in Systems EngineeringExperience evaluating and mitigating technical risksExperience with Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and/or Digital EngineeringExperience with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures along with DoD customer infrastructure experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start dateQualifications We PreferMasters or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or PhysicsExperience in the Defense Industry beyond RaytheonExperience using Agile framework development methods / processesExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and associated toolsPrior experience with foreign military salesA self-starter who can take on task with limited guidanceCustomer focus and collaboration skillsExperience with performance analysisExperience with DOORS and/or cPDMAbility to perform trade studies to optimize system performanceUnderstanding of Systems Engineering Product Development CycleFamiliarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration managementWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.This position requires onsite work in Tucson, AZ: The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
