This person will partner directly with Fraud subject matter experts within Lines of Businesses, Product Leaders and Engineers in addition to people across the company to define the target state for Customer Fraud. This role is designed to define the vision, strategy and roadmap for enterprise capabilities to manage fraud data at the customer-level to reduce fraud losses, restrict fraud perpetrators and improve the experience of our customers who are victims of fraud.Define the long-term vision for customer fraud, focusing on the data, and the integration of fraud sources (internal and external) into the platformLead fraud capability definition and collaborate with technology partners on testing new technologies, processes and toolsPartner with platform and product leads to define a multi-year roadmap to deliver enterprise fraud capabilities Drive convergence to the customer core platform for fraud data and advocate for data sharing across Capital OneCapital One Product FrameworkIn this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutionsBusiness Focused -Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellenceTechnology Driven -Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term valueIntegrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignmentBasic Qualifications:At least 7 years of experience working in Product ManagementCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentrationPreferred Qualifications:Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital productsThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Director, Product ManagementRichmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, Product ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
