At our Belmont campus, we serve students in grades 7-12. At our downtown campus, we currently serve students in grades 9-12. About the opportunity We are seeking a qualified and experienced ESL teacher at our Belmont campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality English language instruction to non-native speakers, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and ensuring that the educational objectives are met during the temporary absence of the regular ESL teacher. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate 100% commitment to preparing every student for post-secondary success Uphold Intrinsic student culture Collaborate to design and deliver on and offline instruction Lead an advisory that meets daily Review student level data to inform instruction and student groupings Seek to improve practice through data analysis, observation, feedback and video Support student learning outside the classroom (facilitate clubs, after-school tutoring, office hours, etc) Contribute to the overall Intrinsic Team by supporting colleagues, participating in school-wide events and seeking ways to improve the school ESL Teacher Required Skills/Abilities/Education Bachelor's degree in Education, English or a related field. MUST HAVE - PEL License with an ESL Endorsement is required MUST   BE  Fluent in English and Spanish Proven experience in teaching ESL to diverse groups of students. Familiarity with ESL curriculum development and assessment strategies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and create an inclusive learning environment. ESL Teacher Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
