If you love to use your administrative and service skills to serve our members and maintain loan compliance, this could be the role for youJob Location: St. Clair Shores BranchDays: Monday Thru Friday w/ occasional SaturdaysHours: 8 AM - 5 PMSalary: $18/HrBenefits:3 weeks PTO available in the first year401k with up to a 6% matchUp to a 5% year-end bonusPosition Purpose:The primary purpose of a Loan Processor is to assist FreeStar Financial Credit Union in fulfilling our mission to positively impact the lives of our members, team members, and community through making meaningful connections and progressive financial solutions.This is done by assisting consumer lending in maintaining all necessary documentation in order to remain in compliance with all regulatory agencies and maintain the necessary records to protect the assets of the credit union. What You'll Do In As A Lending Processor:Efficiently review and verify supporting documentation for approved consumer loan applications, create loan documents, and schedule member closings for both DocuSign, and branch. Communicate directly with loan officers to obtain lending decisions and follow up with members and affiliates to relay loan decisions in an expeditious manner. Maintain a high level of communication between the loan originator, member, and closer both verbally and in writing.Answer incoming phone calls from both members and team members to answer questions and perform account maintenance on Visa and loan accounts. Back up processor for incoming loan applications via phone or internet.Process all insurance products by completing quotes, creating documentation, issuing policies, and processing claims, refunds, and payments.
