As we prepare to welcome our inaugural class in Fall , we’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Aid Coordinator or Enrollment Specialist or to help shape the student experience from day one.Candidates will be placed into the appropriate job title (Financial Aid Coordinator or Enrollment Specialist) based on experience & education. Note: Salary information listed on this job posting reflects the Financial Aid Coordinator title.Why This Role MattersThis is more than a job—it’s a chance to be part of something new and impactful. You’ll play a vital role in guiding students through the financial aid process, helping them access the resources they need to pursue a career in nursing. Your work will directly support the success of our students and the growth of our program.Responsibilities:Administers the student financial aid program at the UPMC schools of nursing. Provides financial aid and assistance to eligible students and maintains financial aid records.First point of contact for current and incoming students with questions pertaining to financial aidStarts and maintains financial aid records on paper and within the CampusVue Student Information SystemContacts current and incoming students about Financial Aid missing/incomplete documents, follow-ups with students as neededResponsible for paperwork related to the origination and disbursement of financial aid for all current students who request Financial AidAssists current and graduating students with payment plansAssists with the recruitment activities for the schools through attendance of Information sessions or answer individual questions from potential studentsCompletes special projects and assignments as directed.*Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.*Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements for Enrollment Specialist title:High School Degree or related is required. Post-secondary Education administration experience is required. Knowledge of computers and ability to assist others with computer use is required.Requirements for Financial Aid Coordinator title:Bachelor's degree is required. 3 years of experience in hospital/school finance and budgets are required. Student admissions and financial aid administration experience is required.3 years of experience in financial aid administration within a higher education setting is strongly preferred.Knowledge of computers and ability to assist others with computer use is required.Student management system experience and fluency in Excel is preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 33 with renewalAct 34 with renewalAct 73 FBI Clearance with renewalUPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
