Job Description

Pay ranges from $27-$34/hr depending on experience. 

This position requires the ability to work a hybrid schedule in our Sacramento Corporate Office but work from home opportunities will be available. 

An exciting opportunity to be a part of our Accounting Team The Staff Accountant II is responsible for preparing journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and assisting with month-end close. 

What you will be doing:

Performing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with closing the books at month end.

Adjusting journal entries.  Transactional journal entries.  Account reconciliations.  Reporting to management on any discrepancies or unusual transactions.  Preparation of balance sheet schedules.  Preparation of internal and external financial reporting. Various administrative duties. 

Qualifications

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 2-4 years of Accounting or Financial Analyst experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as other applications.  High level of professionalism. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
