If so, this position may be for youA busy, growing Elder Law firm is looking for a full-time, experienced litigation paralegal to add to our dynamic team. Under the supervision of an attorney, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for our incompetency, guardianship, and other litigation cases and will be trained to assist in other practice areas within the firm.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and incredible organization and time-management skills. The candidate will have experience with drafting pleadings and other documents, as well as trial preparation and timekeeping.If this sounds like you, apply todayCompensation:$22 - $28 hourlyResponsibilities:Assist lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and filing pleadings, preparing and organizing exhibits for hearings, conducting legal research, organizing and coordinating witnesses, and assisting with client meetingsBe the point person/primary contact for assigned files, maintain and update a spreadsheet of current matters and status to ensure deadlines are met, and clients are satisfiedPerform all matter-related work, including drafting legal documents, correspondence, forms, and more, under the supervision of a lawyerCorrespondence (in person, in writing, and via telephone) with clients and other parties involved in mattersAccurate timekeepingAssisting with other legal matters and duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent communication skills--written and verbalAt least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingCandidates should possess high-level organizational and time-management skillsCandidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preferencePrior litigation experienceAbout CompanySalines-Mondello Law Firm, PC, is a growing boutique law firm focusing on Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Special Needs Planning.
