Description Responsibilities of a Part Time Welding Technology Instructor include but are not limited to:Lecture and Lab instruction for Welding Technology coursesDemonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence to safety precautionsDevelop syllabi and course materials. Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectivesIndependently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomesMake necessary provisions to meet learning needsProvide advisement to studentsAttend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requestedRequired Qualifications5 years of work-related experience.Preferred QualificationsCWE, CWI, SCWI, NDT Certifications, NCCER Instructor Credentials, OSHA 10, 30Welding Technology degreeOne year equivalent full time teaching experienceExperience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforceKnowledge of computer classroom technologiesKnowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management SystemsApplications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.Schedule: Welding Technology courses are taught at the CSN Henderson Campus, in-person and are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekendsSalary: $925.00 per lecture credit hour.
