JOB DESCRIPTION BOOKKEEPERPrideStaff Financial is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper in the Miami area to work with an established technology company that offers learning and growth opportunities as well as a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K planThe Bookkeeper is responsible for keeping records, maintaining financial reports and ledgers, preparing budgets, filing billing, and completing general accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities.Job Description:Maintain accurate financial records for the organizationProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and reconcile bank statementsAssist with payroll processing Generate financial reports as neededSupport month-end and year-end closing proceduresAssist with audit preparationsHandle general bookkeeping duties as assignedJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accountingProficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooksStrong Microsoft Excel skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in data entryUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and practices
