Job Description: Talent Acquisition Specialist The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative, professional and management positions throughout Bay Area Hospital. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions, a basic understanding of our organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to make independent decisions Demonstrated leadership ability Effective written and verbal interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to use coaching and teaching to enhance team development Demonstrated ability to understand, adapt and respond effectively to a constantly changing environment Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, including overnight stays Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES/EXPERIENCE Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or related field One (1) year recruitment experience Healthcare recruitment experience preferred SHRM, HRCI or other HR certification preferred
