The E&I Technician is accountable for executing the maintenance and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will spend your time... Supporting your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance. Ensuring 100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards. As well as executing required preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices. Safe completion of life critical activities in production areas including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT). Identifying and implementing improvements in systems, processes, and personal development and as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Ensuring all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and training other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager. Ensuring preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices are executed as required by department Performing maintenance and repair of site’s electrical and instrumentation systems Performing work order tasks and supports work order flow through MMIS Performing troubleshooting of site’s electrical and instrumentation systems Supporting scoping and planning of work orders Following parts procurement procedures Supporting updating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs Key performance Indicators Wrench time Job Requirements The following are requirements for this position High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET Basic math skills Basic computer skills The following knowledge, skills and experience are helpful but not required Journeys man or Preferably Master Electrician Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking Manufacturing environment experience Chemical manufacturing experience Customer oriented Action oriented Problem solving Conflict management Professional customer relations Good presentation skills Demonstrates a commitment to safety Acts with urgency Collaborates well with others Builds team relationships While we are interested in all qualified candidates with the potential to work in the United States, we are not able to sponsor visas.
