We are looking for passionate, dedicated educators who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special needs.Current Openings:Elementary School (3 Positions):2 Inclusion Setting Positions1 Self-Contained Classroom PositionMiddle School (1 Position):1 Self-Contained Classroom PositionSuccessful candidates will support students in developing academic, social, and motor skills while fostering a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.Essential Duties:Implement the assigned program of studyDevelop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goalsMaintain and enhance professional skillsEstablish and reinforce classroom rules and expectationsMaintain classroom order and ensure student safetyCounsel students regarding academic and behavioral challengesCommunicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behaviorMaintain accurate attendance and grading recordsCoordinate class field trips when applicableCollaborate effectively with school staff and administrationAssume responsibility for classroom materials, equipment, and facilitiesMaintain a neat, safe, and positive learning environmentEncourage student self-direction and motivationUtilize a variety of instructional materials and resourcesPerform other duties as assigned by the Principal and Special Education DirectorMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Education or a related fieldValid Virginia Collegiate Professional License or Postgraduate Professional License with appropriate Special Education endorsement (or eligibility)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the communityBenefits:Competitive compensationHealth and dental insurance401(k) with company matchingPaid time offRelocation assistance (if applicable)Access to a supportive network of peers and mentors within Birch AgencyOnly candidates eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship will be considered.#promoted#LI-JB1
