We are proud to be involved in our local communities and strive to service our customers with fast friendly service.Assist Store Manager to develop and build a team of dedicated sales staff and shift leaders who deliver great, friendly customer service and profitable top line sales. (Top line sales is an increase in gross sales or revenues.) Also fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.Responsibilities include:Working as part of a teamAssist in recruitment, hiring, on-boarding and development of employeesCommunicate job expectationsWork well with others & interact respectfullyHold team members accountable for behavior & performance, addressing concerns promptlyApproach situations with an innovative mind & look beyond the obvious to deliver solutionsProvide challenging assignments to be able to develop othersMaintain CLEAN storeOperational ExcellenceCreate & maintain a customer focused cultureEnsure all shifts are appropriately staffedMaintain safe, secure & healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable lawsCompetenciesCustomer FocusedUnderstand and exceed customer expectations, needs and requirementsDevelop and maintain customer relationshipsFast, courteous customer serviceSeek ways to improve customer satisfaction; ask questions, commit to follow-throughDevelop and maintain good relationships with team membersOperate with integrity, honesty, treat others with respect, keep commitmentsEncourage collaboration and teamworkBasic computer & writing skills * Math & financial management understanding * Retail or supervisory experience * At least 18 years old * High School diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience is an asset * MUST be able to work on weekends
