The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware technologies and be passionate about maintaining virtualization solutions in a mission-critical environment. This position is an onsite role, 5 days a week and requires a secret clearance.  Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS201, T3, Band 6 Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Configure and maintain VMware components.- Monitor virtual infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal resource utilization.- Deploy, and manage virtual machines (VMs), templates, and snapshots.- Implement and maintain security measures for virtualized environments, including access controls, network segmentation, and VM isolation.- Create and maintain documentation related to virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.- Other tasks as assigned. Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:- Active Secret clearance.- Due to federal requirements, all candidates must be US Citizens without Dual Citizenship to another country. - 7+ years of relevant experience.- Strong Knowledge of VMware vSphere features and capabilities- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies for virtualized environments.- This is an on-site position which requires presence on-site five days per week at a government facility in Annapolis Junction, MD.- Candidates must reside within a commutable distance.- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency page-outs is required.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:- Recent (within 6 months) DHS suitability EOD.- Relevant certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA), etc. Minimum Requirements TCS201, T3, Band 6 #techjobs #clearance #VeteransPage #APPCASTDTO #HotJobs1118LI #HotJobs1118FB #HotJobs1118X #HotJobs1118TH #TrendingJobs #HotJobs1125LI #HotJobs1125FB #HotJobs1125X #HotJobs1125TH#HotJobs1216LI #HotJobs1216FB #HotJobs1216X #HotJobs1216TH
