This role involves close collaboration with C-level stakeholders as the voice of data science to ensure that we’re leveraging data science optimally for the strategic vision of the company, the products we develop, and the community we serve.  What You'll be Doing: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data science strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term goals, focusing on scalability and sustainability. Executive Interaction: Engage and influence senior leadership, presenting complex data science concepts and strategies clearly and effectively. Strategic Analytics: Drive the organization's data narrative, focusing on business performance, customer insights, and product analytics. Derive actionable insights from our extensive dataset to support users in their healthcare journey and inform product experimentation strategies. AI and User Experience Optimization: Leverage AI and LLM technologies to enhance user-facing applications, including chatbots and food logging tools, improving the overall user experience and enabling personalized health recommendations. Data Governance and Compliance:Ensure compliance with data governance policies, ethical considerations, and relevant laws and regulations. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a diverse team of Managers and Individual Contributors What We're Looking for: Educational Background:Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. Professional Experience: Extensive experience in data science, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business value. Experience in user-facing AI/LLM applications is highly desirable. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop sustainable, scalable solutions that address business needs, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Behavioral Competencies: Strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience. Ability to foster an environment of radical transparency and pragmatism. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team of data science professionals. Base Salary The US base salary range for this full-time position is $217,000 - $344,000 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.  Other Elements of the Rewards Package Noom currently offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package.
