The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter who understands the position requires 24-hour availability.Compensation:$65,000 - $75,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Conduct daily check-ins with department heads to align on priorities and maintain operations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork. Lead staff training meetings and ensure operational checklists and safety protocols are followed. Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred.
