Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) for premier nursing facility. Come join our winning teamOur Mission: We are professionals committed to serving others, nurturing life, and promoting an individual’s ability to thrive.Position Summary:Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department. This includes but is not limited to the supervision of all therapy personnel, patient/resident satisfaction and evaluating/implementing new programs to meet the needs of the facility and it’s patients.Qualifications: If you meet the below – please applyCurrent, OT, PT, SlP Licensed as required in CaliforniaMinimum of 3 years' direct patient care experience and at least 1 year of management experience preferredOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsWorks collaboratively and independently to problem solve issuesKnowledge of all regulations governing the departmentKind, positive management style with ability to modify communication to the persons being dealt with at the level of maturity to which they function.Demonstrates patience and behaves professionally in all situations and while representing the company, remaining calm in stressful situationsEffectively manages and motivates patients and staffResponsibilities:Hire, train, develop assign and manage a team of therapists and assistantsProvide direct patient care on site, acting as liaison to patients, family members, and support departments to adequately plan for patients needsMonitors the standard of clinical services delivered to ensure positive patient experiences in adherence to regulatory complianceEnsures the quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization and patient identification duties are being performed appropriately and timelyProvides reports as requested and neededDevelops and implements programs appropriate for the patient populationStays updated on all regulations governing the department and the requirements for continuance of educationBenefits:Competitive payHealth Benefits – Medical, dental, and vision coverages with company paying majority of costs for Medical HMO (with buy up plan options available)401(k) with company match (company match begins after 1 year of service)Company paid Life and disability insurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holiday)Employee Assistance programIdentity Theft and Travel insurance protectionsBene-Hub employee sponsored discount programs and more….We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.*Benefits available to full-time employees.We are a skilled nursing facility committed to serving others, nurturing life, and promoting an individual’s ability to thrive.
